Interesting, just wondering how you found that picture? I'm interested in the Gemtech but if it's just a rehash of an already existing design I think I'll just go with the Silencerco I was looking at.

Dave saylors from liberty posted it over at nfatalk.org. The running joke is that this design is being marketed as "innovative" when it's really a copy cat of a proven can. Liberty cans perform well so the gemtech g-core can will probably do well too. But it is a clear copy cat.

I had asked them about the g core stuff when I called them a month and a half ago or so and at the time I think they said only the 22 ones were in production. The others were months off. Best option is to call them and ask though. I've never had an issue getting them on the phone.

Here's the thread started by Dave Saylors from Liberty where this copy cat is discussed. You may need to log in/register to be able to read thread:

The G-Core still looks like a good design, I just prefer giving credit to those that deserve it.

In a thread over on ARFCOM Gemtech's come out and said the GM-HALO and GMT-HALO aren't user serviceable. Instead the core is torqued down and not welded. This allows it to be easily serviced at the factory, but not by the user.

I am interested in the G Core with the idea being that I would have the core welded on a 10" barrel and basically turn the upper into the suppressor. One tax stamp for an SBR and perma-can.

Liberty has this already in the Leonidas but I don't think it is titanium so the weight is higher. There's also an outfit out of Colorado called Shadow Ops Weaponry making a user serviceable monocore that looks like it would work as a perma-can but they have an "F" with BBB.

The Leonidas is awesome. Nothing touches it as far as shhhh.

Call up liberty and as for a titanium core if you have the coin. Titanium is probably easier to mill than steel.

I have two Leonidas's. One standard and one in a custom caliber (.22LR)

What are you using for a forend? Will the Leo fit under a VTAC rail?

Minimum clearance is listed on liberty package #3 specs.

I'm using seekins MCSR V2 rail on the 300 BLK.

And the new forged M4e1 nut less design from aero precision with their magpul m-lok is being built on the .22LR.

Also, the liberty team is great to work with. Their customer service is second to none. Think about that when you are waiting for stamps to clear.
