    Filter water with tree branch

This is pretty interesting. Got to try it.

    Anybody try something similar?

So, to reiterate, anybody actually try this?

I will give it a go, but can't until spring, seeing that it's still a bit frosty here in New England.

I will try to forego the Epoxy since it's something you can't really find in the wild. Maybe replace the tubing with whatever is natural or gives similar effect. Also, I will try different types of wood, maybe try a type that can transfer water faster through the sapwood.

I am aware of the vines in the tropical forests that transport water fairly well (see Predator, the movie).

I will post as soon as it gets above freezing. Until then, any other thoughts?
