Wink Port selector or heavier buffer for silencers?

Just a question as I'm new this forum. I'm looking at purchasing a Larue Tactical OBR 5.56 which has port selector built in if you wanna run a supressor which I plan on doing so. My question, is anyone else running supressors on their m4"s on a regular gas system (I.e. Direct impingement)? Thanks for the advice advance guys

Pappabear, here, does. All of his ARs. A5 standard buffers for the most part.

I like adjustable gas systems for a myriad of reasons.

We shot Sunday and I was jumping between a few ARs. My Syrac 11.5 adjustable with a Silencer ran so much smoother than any of the unsuppressed. There's a carbine H2 buffer system in that gun. Now granted the gun weighs a ton with the heavy Troy MRF rail and silencer, but the Syrac does make a BIG difference.
