If WOA bolts are anything like WOA barrels I would not hesitate. I love those WOA barrels.

BCM is my top choice. I was just questing the Specs of WOA Bolts, their web site doesn't list the Specs. I have one BCM M16BCG I put in another build I did in 2012. I have a Mil Spec Carrier and just need a bolt to complete it. Has any body seen Brownells M16 BCG Part #078-000-175WB ?

OP, take it from me. It's not worth trying to save a buck on a bolt. Go with BCM.

I read this on tngunowners and I like how this puts it.
Quote" Say you have a company ( we'll call it company "A") who makes bolt carriers and you have companies that need BCG's to assemble their rifles or to resale we'll call them company 1 and 2. Company 1 calls company A and tells them that they want x number of top of the line coated, treated bolt carriers made of space age steel and be within .001" tolerance, so company A goes to the drawing board and gets back with them with a price of $100 per part. Now company A gets a call from company 2 wanting bolt carriers and needs them to be at a $75 price point. Company A can't sell the ones created for company 1 at the $75 price point but if they use a cheaper coating and go with a bit cheaper steel and loosen tolerances they can provide company 2 with the part wanted at the price wanted... So, while company 1 and 2 both get their bolt carriers from the same manufacturer, you will not get the same quality of part from company 2 as you would from company 1."

Very Very rare to see bolt breakage in non SOCOM units. Point is, can you honestly tell me a 9230/8XXX/158 would make a difference?

Without testing them side by side in vollume and controlling the test parameters there is no way to know. How do you know your SBR wouldn't have failed if you had a BCM/Colt Bolt? You don't know that.
If you think bolt breakages are rare, you don't shoot enough.

As for the OP, go with BCM. It's not that WOA is bad (I honestly don't know), it's that there isn't much info out there to answer your question, which is probably why you asked it. It's just an unknown quantity, and there's no reason to go with that when a known piece like the BCM is available.

I bought some WOA lower parts kits a few years ago and they seemed to be OK quality. About two years ago I was considering buying a couple of bolts from WOA. I called them to see what material and spec they used for their bolts. The guy I spoke with refused to discuss anything about the specs for their bolts and basically told me if I wanted that info I should go elsewhere with my business which is what I did. Perhaps he was just having a bad day, but my lasting impression is he had something to hide regarding their specs.

These days I only use BCM, DD, LMT, CMT or Colt for critical parts like bolts.

That is Bad for WOA Business if a salesman refuses be helpful with the info about parts they sell and tells to go somewhere else if you want information about gun parts.

DBR, is CMT = STAG or not. I not sure about it. If not where to buy CMT parts?

I'm going to jump on this train and basically repeat most of those who have already posted. You'd be better served going with a part (BCM in this case) which is known for being high quality.
