Sounds like a solid KISS build. Well thought out, quality parts. GOOD JOB, BRO!

Sorry OP. I wish vendors like this were on a watchdogs list so they cannot sell substandard parts. I am glad you were not injured during the blast.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.

Airsoft and knock offs get intermingled into mainstream AR parts and can have catastrophic results.
Um, you do realize that NO airsoft gun uses a DI gas system right? The only thing that Airsoft guns can use from real guns and visa versa are furnature, and sometimes rails/sights and that is it. No actual working parts can be used. Airsoft uses blow back for gas and aeg's (and not even a blow back in the same sort of way real guns utilize). While the new GBB's may look identical to real ar's, trust me when I say none of them will in anyway work, or actually fit. This is how the airsoft guns stay legal.

Also this gas block by the look of it isn't a knock off either, it's just a low grade crap part, in which there are many flooding the market. Nothing regarding airsoft or cloned parts in this case.

There are plants in China pumping out plenty of counterfeit AR parts. It's not a far stretch to think that they may also be producing substandard functional barrels, gas blocks, receiver extensions, buffers, etc. In this case, Made in China and airsoft could be considered interchangeable.

Again, made in china and airsoft are NOT interchangeable. Airsoft has chinese knockoffs the same as real guns. Most legit airsoft stuff is made in Japan or Taiwan to some pretty crazy standards. And then you have the ripoff crap from China. Just one of those things that if people have no idea what they are talking about, don't say it.

Probably good just to drop the whole airsoft ordeal anyways. The majority of gun owners have no clue about airsoft or how they are made or work, and the majority of airsofters have know clue about how real guns work. Just best to leave the two seperate.

Unless you have something of substance to add let it go. These are crappy parts assembled by some company. Let's leave it at that.
