Hello all,
Today my new troy Alpha rail arrived in the mail, and I immediately got down to installing it. I finally finished without any real hitches, but when I assembled my rifle and charged the handle, there is a very loud high pitched *clink* (and it sort of draws out for awhile). Any ways, to be sure that was the sound of my new forend, I grabbed it with my support hand and charged the rifle, and did not hear the sound.
Guys, I know that my rifle is correctly headspaced and what not, and it has always worked fine.
I would think that a very loud and distinctive clinking noise would be a product drawback in one of the many reviews I have read. WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT?? I would really appreciate some input.
Thanks all!!
