I use the lithium grease on my BCG and rails, then use the oil on the cam pin, bolt, extractor, and lugs. Seems to work well, and easy to clean after.
The Weapon Shield is my preferred CLP and has been for sometime.I try other things from time to time, but always end up back using the Weapon Shield.Excellent product.

As for the Weapon Shield grease,I primarily use it on the handgun rails and locking lugs etc.,but I do use a light smear on the carrier bearing rails, hammer face and cam pin in the AR as it keeps the lube in the bearing areas while being stored and ready. In use I re-oil with the Weapon Shield CLP as needed.

Mobile 1 is still kicking along for me. Keeps the bolt welt through lots of shooting, suspends carbon, minimal cleaning. Oh and it's cheap. I'm not using a suppressor. I think i paid 6 bucks for a quart. I'm no door kicker, so theres that.

Found a bottle of Froglube at a LGS today, bought it to see if it works any better for me than my current SAE30 motor oil and break free CLP choices. Unfortunately I don't currently have identical AR's to compare so I think i'll do the froglube on the pistol and run the rifle as current.

Gotta degrease and prep the pistol for Froglube application now

You won't need a control rifle to see that froglube smokes motor oil.

    that remains to be seen

i will admit that the mint scent is much more appealing that the petrol smell of the motor oil however. i might yet be a convert ....

The reason I say that is I came from Mobile 1 to FL for AR15. Mobile 1 worked good for the first 50 rounds that it was there, but that was it..

I don't really find Froglube to be that thrilling on Pistol. It's just on par with every other lube.

How so ? The instructions say to remove any previous petroleum products from the parts prior to application.

If following the manufacturer's instructions are somehow "retarded" I guess you must be mega tier -5 operator.
