Because your experience is completely inconsistent with mine.
Did you at least go through the whole bottle?

ETA: I have seen no need to run it dripping wet, which is a huge selling point.
So how do you run your BCG with Fireclean? I have a bottle but have not made the switch from Froglube paste, still running it as I like the fact that it doesn't run and once I put it somewhere it just stays there, but also turns to a really nice liquidy lube when I actually put a couple of rounds through it.

I gave the Complete Upper a very Thorough Detailed Cleaning with CLP, and dried it up as best I could... but if you're asking if I used, say, a Parts Cleaner or some sort of Brake Cleaner Or Degreaser, then no.

I tried using a Light Film at first, but it just didn't seem to be Slick enough.... Hence I had to add quite a bit before it seemed to feel ok... and obviously that led to it running out of everywhere... just when I'd wipe it down and try to dry everything off externally, it'd seep out again and again... I run my stuff wet n sloppy, in an Oil Bath.

I guess it just didn't impress me? What's so Good about FireClean? If I failed to notice any Definitively Positive Traits, after having such High Hopes for it... then, what am I missing?

    I'm all ears

I'll send a PM so as to not continue my derail of the thread, but to see the benefit, the parts need to be stripped.

I don't think it's a derail, it's important to the conversation. I think FC is the best out there. To get the best results it takes a thorough cleaning and degreasing and applying FC and wiping the parts down repeatedly a few times over a few days.

I just clean everything up with rubbing alcohol then treat with FireClean. After the initial treatment, I wipe down parts and re-lube with FC. Just a slight sheen of lube goes a long way. The bolt stays nice and wet for well over 1K rounds, even running suppressed.

Down range in 120+ degree temps, FC simply stays put and doesn't burn off.

Yeah, basically what the Tom and stalker said above, except I use carbon blast, quick scrub, or non-chlorinated brake cleaner.

After first use, wipe down and reapply a thin coat.

Still using Slip 2000 EWL .

I got to try it a few years ago and I haven't seen a real reason to change .

After thoroughly stripping everything off with Slip 725 degreaser and then
a few cycles of shooting and cleaning with Slip 2000 EWL -my guns seem to clean off easier
like they were chrome plated or something .
Definitely makes cleaning easier then it used to be .

I'll consider trying FC when I run low on Slip 2000 , but I'm stocked up
for years on it . That may be why the votes for slip is so high .
During the height of the panic people stocked up on just about everything
gun related and at the time Slip was one of the most recommended lubes .

Who didn't buy something else with their mags to make the shipping
    worthwhile during the panic ?

    Good point.
There are a bunch of pretty decent options out there, hell, even CLP works, and for those that are used to what it/they provide, it isn't all that compelling to throw out what's already stocked up.

Same experience here. Whether its FC or aTW25/MC2500 combo for me, I use milcomm's MC25 degreaser to remove any remnants of old lube/carbon before re-applying. A sheen, like you said, is all that is needed and I think some have a hard time taking that literally. Running sloppy wet is definitely a requirement of some lubes. Not the case for FC. TW25/MC2500 performs similarly but from what I can tell the FC is lasting longer.
