Because you don't get sarcasm about people complaining about guns being just too darn smelly?

So last week I ran over 2k round thru a suppressed 11.5" SR-16 - the lube was still wet (did put more lube in day 4 - as multiple shooters were shooting the gun too back to back).

Earlier this week did a demo with around 1k fired in a few hours - and the carbon sludge just wiped off after, I defy you to do with any other lube than Fireclean...

The lube works and I'm lazy.

I started ar life using slip2k ewl which I was happy with while shooting the rifle but it was always running out the fcg pins and around the trigger. I was just happy to have something non toxic.

A new lgs opened up a couple years ago, they had little inventory as the post sandy hook scare was in full swing but as I try to buy something when I visit an lgs, I grabbed some froglube as it was all they had that I could use (not even bore brushes, my default purchase) I went thru the process and an quite happy with it mostly because it stays put and smells good. Smell isnt typically a criteria if mine but it doesnt hurt to smell decent or at least not like WWII GI bore cleaner.

Ive noticed fire clean getting a lot of push from a few no nonsense individuals, Id like to try it sometime, perhaps on my glock 19 as I didnt get around to frog lubing that yet.

Yeeeup. I've yet to have an issue with motor oil. It lasts forever too. Carbon wipes right off with the used oil.

Maybe this is kinda perverse, but for some reason I like it when the oil runs out around the pins.

I have been using Slip 2000 for quite some time and still have a few large bottles of it to go through. Then a friend of mine recommended FC. I have tried it on a couple of guns, an off duty Glock 19 and my Colt 6920 patrol rifle. I was amazed at how it just started cleaning my guns just by sitting there.

I recently went through a 1911 transition school for my dept. We would have daily inspections. I was going to use FC but stuck to using Slip 2000 EWL. Didn't it to clean it too well and cause it to fail inspection for a "dirty" pistol.

The hard part is figuring out which guns in my safe have FC and which have Slip. I'm gradually phasing out Slip and switching to FC.

I agree...I'm no professional shooter or have any background in firearms other than owner and shooter but I've tried a lot of the wonder lubes out there just to see...I find it interesting....and Fire Clean just plain works.

From what I understand, the cost relates to the ingredients, not profit margins. I can stomach that. It costs about 1 magazine of ammo per year in fireclean to keep me running. I'm going to just flex on everyone and go ahead and admit that for a man of my means, $15 / year is nothing to me.
