Love It Or Hate It ?

I know a lot of members on this site do not like the lowers with all the pictures and crap on them but my inner headbanger likes this one I doubt that I would ever buy one though. Now if it had a picture of Eddie and some Iron Maiden songs for the selector markings I would buy one since I am a huge Maiden fan !!

What say you, Love it ? Hate it ?

I like it. I look at it this way, it's your money spend it how you wish.

Personally, I want one of those pirate lowers with a Calico Jack (skull & crossed cutlasses) on the mag well with the selector saying Parley, Plunder and ARRRGH! to do as an SBR.
If you can't win a gun fight against a lightly-trained individual during broad daylight with 88 rounds of 30-06, I'm not sure you'd be able to do it with... any other firearm.

Ok, I've got an El Camino full of rampage here, so what's the plan?

Pirate lower would be the only one of interest to me that I've ever seen.

I was always partial to the infinity symbol for the auto selection.

I can't see making a gun look like a toy. But then they mostly are.

As much as there's an argument for 'spend that money on ammunition', there are far worse and usually more frequently chosen all-show addons to rifles - as a collection piece, or conversation starter that's awesome - especially if the rest of the rifle is 100% squared away.

Christ! Nothing wrong with a little bit of personalization. "Don't go out to eat ever, spend it on mags and ammo! Don't get any furniture nicer than IKEA, spend it on mags and ammo!" the mantra gets kinda old. And before anyone goes on about how guns are just tools, I suspect that they don't work with their hands much. I make my living with my tools and so has everyone I've ever worked with. When you rely on a tool regularly for important task you end up having a certain special spot for it. I've got favorite welders, hammers, grinders, etc. I tend to keep them in a bit better condition because of it and even personalised some of them. Never met a current or former service member who didn't hold a special place for their issue rifle in basic.

My work tool box is full of Snap on tool for a reason and not one piece had the markings filled in with paint. I have never felt the need to personalize anything I own for some reason. I guess we are all different and that has to be good.
