Any AW-ban issues sending an AK74 to Iowa?

Buyer of my AK-74 is located in zipcode 52722. Mapquest says city of Bettendorf.

52722 zipcode shows up as across the river from Illinois. Don't know much about either state or the area.

Any issues sending the rifle to an FFL there?

no problems unless its a short barreled version. Otherwise no problems with the AK74 or the magazines.

The only rule that applies to sending rifles it Iowa is that at some point the purchaser has to send me a bag of Taco Johns.

    It's a regular 16" barrelled semi-auto with some 30-round mags.

Nothing Class3 about it. No SBR, no SBS, no AOW, etc.

So, it is good to go?

Too hard to get a cheap Iowa bastard to pay for anything!

We had a sales manager from Iowa at my company and one of the Sales reps called him a "typical cheap Iowa bastard". That phrase stuck with me.

Yes were cheap, up here its farm and drink, drink and farm. That damn equipment ain't cheap. I mean we spend 250,000 on a combine that drives itself down the corn rows and only sees use for 4 to 6 weeks a year. Its so spendy we have to drink.

Yes Steyr Taco Johns is delicious, Americanized greasy Mexican food its like crack its so delicious. and yes we have real Mexican food and we normally partake quite often.

Back to the rifle, you will have no trouble here in Iowa, if it goes to Illinois I can't help you there.
