Just announced the type 2 rail covers. SHOT or shortly after will bring tape switch mounting plate, hand stop kit, and Type 1 rail covers. Type 2 covers are a Type 2 accessory...can mount on 3,6,9, etc., every 90 degrees. They are rigid, have TSP texture, and require no T-Nuts to stay securely fastened to rails of any in-spec thickness. Because they wrap around, they don't fit on SL, MOE or SGA forends, but we didn't anticipate anyone wanting to put a rigid polymer panel on a rigid polymer part.

The Type 1 covers are a Type 1 accessory, of course, meaning that they can be place every 45 degrees around a min spec rail or on SL, MOE, or SGA, and they will be a semi-rigid, heat resistant material. No T-Nuts for these, either.

AFG M-LOK. I have never used any AFG but this pistol build won't end up >26". That is the grey rail and grey AFG.

Just got in a MI 15" light m-lok that I'm going to use reconfiguring a 6.8mm rifle. Holy crap I just didn't comprehend the weight difference till I got it in hand. Numbers are one thing but nothing beats the feel.

Question for our friendly neighborhood Magpul rep. Is the description of the adapter plate on the following link backwards?

    http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG478/M-LOK

I didn't think adapting mlok parts to moe slots was possible since the mlok slots are bigger. I thought only the reverse was possible.

Thank you Magpul for keeping these hand guards and making them into M-Lok. I will getting one sometime after the new year.

The M-LOK accessory to MOE slot plate allows the M-LOK accessory to be mounted on the old MOE handguards but you do lose the direct attach capability of the cammed T-Nuts. This is generally not an issue as MOE accessories were not direct attach to begin with.

Thanks. From the M-lok system description I didn't think it was possible to attach M-lok parts to MOE slots due to the slot size differences.

Reason I ask is I know it's been stated that MOE attachments could be mounted to M-lok slots via an adapter plate and I've got several MOE components I'd like to reuse as I convert all my rifles over. Was just wondering if that link was the MOE->MLOK adapter but I guess it's not.

More good stuff from Magpul for the M-LOK system. The hand stop kit is on my wanted list.
