In WI we have always had open carry no matter the firearm. CCW just gave us the ability to conceal it and allows us to legaly own tasers.
Some states have a restriction on overall length of a concealed firearm. IIRC, SC limits the length to 10".

Years ago I would have thought this was mearly a joke, some sort of fluke; I'm begining to think it more possible as time goes on.
Be careful. Here in Oklahoma there are maximum barrel lengths and maximum overall lengths to carry on person. Im not sure about in the car whether it would be considered legal. So a word of advice look over your laws to see if they have defined lengths for the pistol you can carry. Also another thing is caliber. In Oklahoma I can not carry anything over a ".45 caliber," it doesn't say anything about pistol or rifle cartridge just diameter. that is another concern for some.

The sickle in the fruitful field:
The sword he sang a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield.
You can in Tennessee, it's just not the smartest thing to do, all things considered: http://www.wkrn.com/story/11725169/m...pistol-to-park
