Yeah not a huge fan of the new spiderman. Problem is that even though it is Marvel, Sony still holds the rights to the movies.

    Que?

I thought Disney owns Marvel now, along with Pixar, Lucas Film, Star-Trek, Muppets, etc.

They do. However there were a few franchises that they didn't get immediate rights too. Spider man is one of them. It is owned by Sony along with Ghost Rider.
Fox owns the Fantastic 4 and X men along with one or two others. All the rest are Disney.

it has to do with who Marvel had already sold the rights too before everything happened. They got back most but Fox and Sony said nope. As long as they keep making movies the rights stay theirs.

The only surprise is that anyone is surprised. Of all the Marvel movies the Spiderman series has to be the most disappointing.

I thought "Spiderman" movies are for children...?

I watched a couple of them with my Grandchildren and thought for kid movies they were okay, but they're certainly not adult fare - at least not this adult.

I don't go to movies at all... or give a fukk about super hero nonsense... The point is one that Radio mad man, Michael Savage made with the last Spiderman actors.... they're puny, feminine like males. I remember him commenting on that years ago... as though hollywood was pushing the image of faggy men.

I thought he was just nuts until this homofest appeared. 105 lb fruit loops jumping around playing super hero? WTF? These sword fighters make obama look like an athelete.

Keep in mind Peter Parker was a boy. He wasn't a muscle-bound gigantor like most of the other super heroes.

Yep, Parker/Spiderman was never meant to be built like Captain America or Superman. He was the puny, nerdy, whimpy kid that got picked on in high school and never got any recognition or respect.
If you can't win a gun fight against a lightly-trained individual during broad daylight with 88 rounds of 30-06, I'm not sure you'd be able to do it with... any other firearm.

Ok, I've got an El Camino full of rampage here, so what's the plan?
