I'm really liking this particular VFG due to its versatility and comfort. It's small enough to be used as a regular handstop, however many fingers you want on it vs. the rail. The 5° angle makes it more comfortable to me than other handstops. It's also large enough to grip like a more traditional VFG should you ever want to.

    Thank you for the advice.

Absolutely love this thing, especially due to the storage capacity. I'm not sure what you guys are talking about with it shaking/twisting, this thing is rock solid. I intentionally tried torquing/twisting it to see if it would break and I couldn't even get it to budge. It feels great in the hand with the MI Rail panels and I love the slight angle.

Another benefit is that it puts my hand in a perfect position to activate the tail cap on my Scout light and IWC mount. Before, it was a little awkward. Now it is perfect.

Apparently someone got assed up about my comments on that nonsense and went crying to the Mods.

It was definitely not me Mark, I rather enjoy your "shoot from the hip" commenting lol.

It was me, Mark. There's only room for one 11.5" KMR fanboy on this site.

I am very pleased with my purchase, I will admit to being slightly concerned/interested how the gaps along the base of the grip would feel when combined with the KMR/NSR rails; no issues at all for me, very comfortable and solid feeling.

I will however note that while out at the range I was using the supplied nylon pic rail and an Atlas bipod and I could see noticeable torquing on the rail; I suppose that in that application the metal rail section might be necessary.

Plastic rail sections are fine for lights, grips, etc, but anything that might have some torque on it or require precision (lasers, sights, etc) needs the aluminium rail sections IMO.

I very much agree, I just haven't yet purchased the metal sections - I am still waiting to see if anything surfaces for bipod mounting other than what has been currently released.
