'Evil Minds That Plot Destruction'
Crap, you guys must live closer to BCM than I do!
I know right...
Mine is supposed to be here tomorrow according to usps.
Mine does this too but it's nothing to worry about IMO.
What's happening is that the base mounts up to the rail and doesn't move at all. You twist the handle 2 full rotations to secure it in place. The handle has a very slight amount of rotational play in it where it screws into the base. It might have a total of 2° play in it, and it's not loose. When you put force on it it's able to rotate a hair, but I can't see how you'd ever notice it while using the rifle.

I'm all the way out in Cali, and still got mine today. The thing mounts up rock solid to my KMR, no rotation. This is my first VFG, I must say that I like the feel.
I live about an hour away from BCM, but I'm still surprised it came in about a day!
I was very excited about this VFG, but it looks like I missed the short window in which the black version was in stock.
That might not be a bad thing, though. I've never trained with a VFG before, and my little range time with the Magpul AFG left me wondering what all the excitement was about with that product. I was looking at the KMR VFG only because the smaller and slicker KMR might not offer as much grip as a standard carbine handguard.
What are your thoughts on using the KMR VFG versus a hand stop of some sort? Is either necessary?
