So, I watched Twang & Bang's video on the new keymod VFG and placed an order with BCM for one. In his video he slides the unlocking tab upward easily with his thumb. I get mine in and it ain't moving. Anyone else having problems sliding the unlocking tab to install their VFG?
May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't.

I'm sticking with the metal rail section for bipod/vertical grip mounting. I like the ability to use my Atlas/QD VFG on multiple weapons, not just the ones with a KM Handguard. I don't have to buy, store or haul two of each mounting system, keeping it simple.

I'm kind of waiting on the same thing. I don't care for any of the bulky keymod mounts... I want something more low-profile than what is currently available, but is true keymod so the bipod rests on the actual rail, not the adapter.

I kinda like that too. I borrow Pappabear's Atlas because it's got the throw lever ADM mount.... so keeping a rail section works for me for now. My Atlas is the bolt on mount and is stuck on my bolt gun.

After a long day at work I got home to have my vfg waiting for me. This thing feels fantastic with my 2-3 finger on grip, the transition is very comfortable. Also, mine locks up tighter than a nuns you-know-what.

Same here. The last 1/4 turn really locks it in. No wiggle, no twisting, nothing. Just a nice solidly attached vfg. I like it.

Do you keep that in the same bag as your nail gun?
