Here's my take:
My participation in this thread is the equivalent of a fat kid whose parents won't allow him to eat sweets watching everyone else in the class gobble up the most delectable cake ever created.
Why do the loudest do the least?
I never thought I would be the guy to get ahold of something before release date, but I lucked into one of these today. I was at my LGS picking up a BCM upper and BCG (not what's shown in the pics below). I asked about the VG-S-KM and lo and behold the store had three demo units in three different colors. The manager gave me one in FDE free of charge. I put it on my 13.5" NSR. I haven't had the chance to shoot it yet, but the difference in feel and comfort is much improved over the previous setup, which was a kemod picatinny rail section with a Magpul RVG mounted on it, for the same reasons Quiet Riot talks about in his review video. Quiet Riot and plouffedaddy showed very well in their respective videos how the grip works so I won't get into that, but rather just say I'm very pleased with it and one will be going on any future rifle I buy or build. After I mounted it where I wanted it I used a Dremel and some OCD on some Noveske NSR panels and shaped them so they would go around the VG-S-KM.
I also picked up the new BCM QD mount and after comparing it to the Noveske mount I had at home I decided to replace the Noveske with the BCM. Not an issue of quality, but I like the overall shape and design of the BCM better. I have a feeling that BCM's new stock will wind up on this rifle as well, as the Emod's QD socket isn't rotation limited.
MarkM, the flashlight mount in the pic is the NSR Scout light mount from Noveske. I recall you expressed an interest in their ringed mount, and I can only assume that it would mount the light in the same position relative to the rail.

Anyone have any idea on expected release date for us peons? I'm on the email list but I'm growing weary of waiting![]()
They told me a month out when they sent them to me, but the realities of deadlines suggest you think about another four weeks from now.
