Now Michael Bloomberg, the billionaire former mayor of New York, wants to bankroll that change. He says he will spend at least $50 million combating the NRA and do it on the NRA’s own turf, Washington, using the NRA’s legislative and grass roots playbooks.

Bloomberg has launched Everytown for Gun Safety (everytown.org) that seeks to energize and motivate grassroots voters to demand common sense gun safety legislation.

“This new organization will bring more people into the fight against gun violence, which affects every town in America,” said Bloomberg.

I didn't know the NRA was a legislative body. I won't even get into the irony of liberal media bias doing much worse when it comes to restricting freedoms of the average individual. Tucker should move to Russia where people actually DO dictate laws. She obviously can't handle concepts like freedom and would probably prefer Putin neo communism.

I do love that she lives in Georgia and is probably walking around fuming with clenched fists due to recent state legislation. The U of GA should send her a "**** off gram."

If you own a firearm and are not a member of the NRA, then you are part of the problem. I know the NRA begs more than NPR but your membership is important and you don't have to answer all of their beg-a-thons. Send something if you can afford it, if you can't, well that's OK too. But shooters need to join. Hunters, who may fire only a dozen rounds a year need to join also. They want All the guns, even your 50yr old Sears single shot shotgun. Remember, when the guns are gone they won't be coming back!
