Well if I just downloaded the catalog instead of navigating the internet, I would have found what I was looking for right away. Now all I need to do if find one or 2 in stock.

    Thanks for the replys.

Do I think it's worth it? So far, yes. And I'm liking a few things about it over the Surefire line.
I have put on the 7.62 cans on 5.56 rifles, but I really think it's better to use 5.56 cans on those. KAC 762 MD's only come in 5/8" and 3/4", no 1/2" thread. The only can in the lineup without the short 3-prongs is the full size 762 QDC.
PM me with an email address if you want some terrible iPhone pics of them.

Have you shot the 556 qdc/cqb? I'm wondering how it compares to the full size qdc. I plan on getting one or the other for my kac 14.5 w MAMS... Weight and size is a concern but also don't want to be disappointed if the cqb lacks the performance in mitigating flash and sound. Thanks for any input!

No, I have not shot the 556 QDC/CQB, waiting on KAC for that. I do like the others in the lineup though.

Also curious to see some input on first hand experience between the 2 also. I have a 14.5 SR-15 SBR on form 3 to my dealer (this week) and trying to figure out if I want the Full size or CQB. Want to get it in relativity at the same time as the SBR stamp. I have a M4-2000 and Socom5.56rc already. Thinking the CQB is in order.

Also, has anyone run these CQB cans on an MK18? Seeing if there is a clearance issue with QD mounting device and handguard clearance. Along with feedback on performance on a SBR.

I don't think the 556 QDC/CQB is in the wild yet. The 556 QDC is a very nice setup though, that and a MAMS combo is great. I'll make a post when the 556 QDC/CQB gets here and test fired.

Saw some 2012 production ones that are different then what will be or has come or will be coming out to the commercial market. I like the original KAC dimple look, but from what I've researched they no longer have that?

    Thanks again,
Somewhat in the wild. KAC 762 QDC CQB on lmt MWS 13.5" barrel w mams.

When I tried to order a 556 QDC around November 2013, my SOT said he couldn't get them. I ordered the 556 SOCOM instead, but still haven't gotten the stamp back...

tom12.7 where did you find your 556 QDC?

Ordered it from KAC sometime ago. I'm eager to get my hands on the 556 QDC/CQB. I really like 762 QDC/CQB on 300 Blackout with supers, the full size 762 QDC is super quiet with subs.

That can looks nice. Makes me want one.. like.... Right now! Can't wait until they start spitting them out of KAC factory. Thanks for the pics.
