BCM Lightweight vs ELM barrels ? 14.5

Ordered a 14.5 ELW upper with a perm'd BCM comp and a centurion BCG yesterday.. F**k Eric Kincel and his ability to empty my wallet.

Sorry if I missed it, but is that using red Loc-Tite?
I am going to use a BCM gas block on my incoming 14.5" BCM ELW barrel.

If you go red, make sure you don't plan to do a rail change or anything requiring the block to come off. It's a pain in the ass.

I've had great luck with plain old Rockset. It breaks loose like a glass rod with human strength when you need to take a set screw out. About perfect in my experience. I've also gone to staking the set screw sometimes too.

It is August tomorrow, anyone heard anymore on the BFH ELMs? Would love to pick one up while BCM is running their BCG/Mod 0 special.

You know what sucks? I ordered my BCM 16" LW middy upper last week. If I'd held on just a few more days, I would have gotten a free BCG and comp along with it.

Oh well, the upper is awesome. I got the rifle all put together this week, and I love how it handles. I'm definitely going to have my A4 milled down to this same profile as well.

Nature of the beast. I could have got my SOCOM 14.5 so much cheaper under the Blem category.
