When you mention less blast and concussion, do you mean for the shooter or others around?

If concussion and blast is not your main concern:

Less than half the price of a BC with nearly exact same attributes while closely matching the dimensions of an A2 FH (2 oz., same diameter and only 1.875")

Otherwise, go for the BCM GF Comp

I am leaning towards the BCM comp right now. Also its a plus that my local gun store happens to have one in their store. Gonna go check it out after work. Not 100% sure yet on BCM though. Also gonna check out some PWS comp they have in store.

Gas-system, barrel length, BCG, buffer and spring all have their parts to play too. And for those un-initiated, BCM 14.5" mid-length uppers, on a BCM lower, with a BCM Gunfighter comp, are incredibly soft shooting.

I do get the idea that people are becoming more interested in comps and breaks, and less interested in learning proper shooting techniques to control recoil and muzzle movement.
Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus (519 BC – 430 BC) Power should only be given to those that want it least.

There may be some in that category. But for others, combining good shooting with a smooth shooting gun means shooting a lot faster.

I ended up getting the BCM mod 0 last night at my local gun store.. It looks really good on my muddy. We'll see how it performs.

Thanks guys for all the replies. I really do appreciate it.

I've always ran surefire brakes. Nothing beats those things as far as controlling muzzle flip/rise. Makes my middy feel like a 22.

I think you will like the BCM. The Battle Comp drives the muzzle down for me and the BCM shoots pretty flat with less blast.

Here is a 10 round string in 2.25 seconds. The muzzle stays flat.

Good shooting mate. I am very excited to go shooting, but since I live in Oregon, the weather here changes all the time. I have to wait for some sunny days..

That's cool. You could have even gone faster and stayed well within a torso. The back lighting is cool looking.

I'd say that shooting is pretty much beyond criticism.

    Fast and accurate
