Seattle proposes raising min wage to $15 and Cali Rep wants to $26

Impressed with the Seattle mayor’s proposal proposal to raise the minimum wage in his city to $15 per hour, a California congresswoman thinks the bottom in her state should be set at $26 per hour.

The mindset behind this is just astonishing. I thought that this already passed in Seattle though from what I heard? I don't know. How can people not realize that this will effect everyone on purchasing just about anything? And why should someone, who works at a no-skill position deserve to be paid better than some people with degree's and or years of job experience? Mind blowing. Everyone wants something for nothing, if your job doesn't pay well enough, it is your job to better yourself and get to that next level.

Hell why stop there? Lets just give them $100K salary for flipping burgers . . . just keep printing fiat currency off on the printers! What's the worst that could happen . . .

Exactly. I don't understand the thinking that if forcing a minimum wage is a GOOD thing, then why limit it to $15/hr. Who doesn't want to make $50/hr? Then EVERYBODY can make $50/hr and everyone gets to pay taxes.

The fact they set the minimum wage low means they at least recognize it is harmful and want to limit the damage to all while favoring some.

Yea, the fundamental question to get to the root of the stupidity is "how much is enough?", just like gun control. You quickly realize there is no limit, and they have no clue how the real world works. They are so convinced the world is against them and they deserve more, they will never actually live. They just coast through life cause it easy.

There was actually an article I read a few months ago where some libtard idiot was proposing a minimum national salary. IIRC it was like $80K if you can believe that!
