Seems like a winner suggestion to me. Can we get pictures of the rest of the weapon?

Might have a hard time reaching torque on that without uglying up the muzzle device.

Here it is on a pistol.

It goes on without a crush washer. Just tighten it down to spec. It has flats for a wrench.

I understand how it goes on.
With a rail that covers half of the device, the flats are going to be under the fore-end, and therefore pretty difficult to get a wrench on to achieve torque.

Take the rail off and install the Comp, put the rail back on. It looks like the rail has to be removed anyway to take off the current device. You won't be changing the Comp very often once it's on.

Have you ever installed the rail in question?
Because I am beginning to think that I might be getting trolled.

Video at the bottom of the product page. Looks pretty simple.

    Wow.
    The taste of the crow...so...dry...

I thought the rail was a different model. MarkB1, you hit the nail on the head.

Thanks for the reply gents! I think we all agree that shooting this setup would take too much of a chance, even with the A2. I will get another muzzle device that is around the 2" mark to sort the issue.

I like the length of the rail. It is what is needed for me in order to get the right reach. Shorter would prevent that. Barrel length is as short as I think it can be to remain reliable from what I've read for gas impingement system. Longer would again defeat the purpose of the build to me.

I will get pics of the full setup shortly.
