Like Alexander Mundy, I'm in like Flint...

The name was immortalized by Public Enemy in 1987 on their single M.P.E. but few caught the reference.

But if you know the name, you know the show and it's now out on DVD.

It Takes a Thief: The Complete Series (1968)

The sixties weren't all bad, there was some excellent television.

    Great show.

But I gotta ask. Was Public Enemy being cute with the "in like Flint" lyric, or did they seriously not know the saying?

I suspect it's a reference to the James Coburn film.

True. We got Star Trek out of that era. Then again we also got Lost In Space. So I'm gonna call it a wash.

Speaking of Flint, AMC had Our Man Flint on Today.

I watched the whole thing but remembered it being much better as a kid. I did not realize that it was made in 1966 !! Holy crap, I was not even born yet. Lots of eye candy and jiggly things
