Interesting that you guys released this item. I was at Tavor Armorer's School on Tuesday 5/13 and I asked why the Tavor didn't utilize the existing hardware to mount a metal port cover. The instructor specifically said that the metal aftermarket covers do not keep the gas out of the shooters face because it doesn't seal the port properly.

Thats why we use a full size backing plate. The others do not .
