But, BBQ pit with a "No Guns" policy? Really?!
The advice above is worth exactly what you paid for it.
In this state, "these premises ban guns" signs don't have the force of law. I generally opt for self-protection and ignore such signs.

That area of Durham has the highest crime in the city. Even so, this is a liberal town (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill is a dem-heavy, liberal area and not representative of the "real" south), so most places have signs that ban firearms. Adding to the irony is Gabby Giffords has eaten there.
Saw a report on Fox news, even THEY agree that signs DONT work!
Perhaps they need a larger sign.![]()
