after getting a pretty good idea of wind and elevation on the 12x20" plate, I was 3 for 5 on the 4x4" bad guy head but hit the hostage first round. doh!
That screen looks fabulous. If you kill the hostage the Bad Guy has no leverage, thats usually my plan

the system has already helped me out quite a bit. for instance, yesterday evening, my first round just BARELY clipped the bottom of the big plate. You can see it about 1/3 from the right. I heard it and saw the plate move but no way I could see that through my scope. So without the camera, I wouldn't have known to hold up. I probably would have changed my wind hold on the next shot.

same for the hit on the bad guy. i BARELY grazed the top right corner of his head. the two impacts low left on his head are easily visible in the scope. but i couldn't see the hit on the top right.

Yep. For .223 at 1000+ this is priceless. Half of the time we can't see our .308 POIs because of previous hits or how the paint is caked on that spot, etc.

Our current spot is low to the ground all the way out, and we get heat mirage so bad, it's like looking through a river.

    so...
this is the view through the scope on a horrible mirage day. vege has grown up in front of my hostage target (below the big white rectangle) so they're not just a hostage but also behind cover now! you could only see the head of the hostage and the head and shoulder of the bad guy.

but from the target cam, which was slightly to the side, you get a nice full view of both targets

here are 3 shots fast on the shoulder, which as you can see from the view through the scope is a safer, higher percentage shot...

i'm totally digging this camera! I also found out it was great for new shooters because everybody can gather around the targetcam and spectate

When you gonna do a night shoot with it ? bet it certainly has potential advantages in that area.

Great shooting, and that's an awesome overall tool for LR shooters.

We use the targetvision.com system. Displays on anyone's ipad or iphone. Even marks your hits. Very compact system.

Interesting. Heard of it but haven't gotten to play with one of those yet. What kind of range and battery life do you get with it? Can you record from your iPhone/Pad?
