Form 4, dealer submitted wrong suppressor length

The title says it all.

My question is what now? I'm about 4 months in. I'm upset at myself for not having noticed before.

If and when approved, can I write in to have a permanent change as you can with SBRs?

Can't find any info related to this matter anywhere and wondering if anyone else had the same happen to them.

It may get approved as is, or NFA branch may kick it back to the dealer for the correction, which usually then gets approved within a couple of weeks. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

We had a machine gun that was approved for transfer to us with the barrel length and overall length switched. It was more than a foot difference.

I just got off the phone with my dealer. Both SilencerShop and Griffin Armament list as 6.6 inches. Form 3 has 7.6 inches and this is apparently where my dealer got the length from.

Paper or eForm?

If paper, don't worry about it. If it gets kicked back it can be fixed and only add ~2 weeks based on recent reports.

If it's an eForm...cross your fingers and hope for the best!!

It should not get kicked back. But, if it did, it wouldn't be the first time.

Um yeah. This is wrong. I've actually had ATF ask me to verify inconsistencies in this issue. This was the first time I literally yelled at the NFA branch...
