You made it seem like I was trying to bullshit the OP by bashing BCM. I've been on here since 2010. I own three BCM's. I have no reason to make bullshit up. Here's the thread I started on the topic a couple weeks after you joined M4C... https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread...t=#post1883963

No, because I bought it through that Revolvr deal, an app that Rainier was promoting mind you. Apparently to them that is like buying something from craigslist and absolves them of their normal responsibilities. I respect the fact that they gave me my money back, what I don't respect is how they tried to sound like they were going out of their way to take care of me because I bought it through that promotion and not their standard website. At the end of the day I sent Rainier Arms money for a Rainier Arms product and they sent me the product, I don't care where the transaction took place, especially if it was through something they promoted (I found it via a link on the Rainier Arms facebook page). To me it seems like they made it a promotion to get rid of inventory that was out of spec, it seems highly suspicious that I find a deal for an $80 upper, much less than they normally go for and when I get it, it won't fit properly.
The way I see it is that we entered into a transaction together, I agreed to pay X dollars for a working product. I delivered on my end of the deal, they did not (even though they claim there were no issues when they tried to put it on a lower once I shipped it back, apparently all three of mine are out of spec...). After everything as said and done I was out $10 and had nothing to show for it expect for a pain in the ass experience. I don't really care that sometimes the customer has to pay for return shipping, that seems like a crappy business practice to me when the product I bought was defective.

I get that places do that but I still don't think it is right. If you returned it because you decided you didn't want it or something like that then I can understand paying for the return shipping. If you returned it because they sold you a defective piece then it should be on them to make it right, not you.
