    Century Arms AK Sporter

Reading about AK's lately and saw the CA Sporter. Anyone here own one? Can you comment on what you like about it...or dislike?

The receiver is a machined block of solid aluminum. Seems nice. Made in the USA.....

I watched some YT video on it. Guy put it through a 1000 round "torture" test and I think the hand guard and or rail failed due to heat. No malfunctions from what I can remember. Seems like a nice rifle for the price.
No, my question is not a joke. I'm just a newbie

I have a Centurion (milled steel receiver) and I really like it. It shoots very well and is well made. I'm happy with it..

Cool. You know, ever since I was a kid I always wanted one. Back when Clinton was president my dad took me to a local guy who sold a modest amount of firearms. He was a retired SGT. Maj. USMC. When we inquired about wanting one, he told us they were difficult to come by at a reasonable price. Not sure if that was true or he thought we were a bit sketchy...lol...this had to be back in about '96 or so.

Lol. Wow! Don't hold back your feelings!

I've heard this said before, but why? I've now researched enough online to know that people are very happy with this rifle. I've seen the tests done with it and I can't see why "it's crap".

Are you saying this from personal experience with this specific rifle or just what you've heard?

Not this rifle the company, I had a century arms bullpup ak the thing was a pos poorly designed, it had a pistol grip under the barrel which got hot fast after 90 rounds, couldn't hold it anymore. Plus numerous failures the rounds ejected would get stuck in front of the bolt and locked up
