Quikclot Demonstrator (Red Package) - What is this?

Came across this on eBay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/QUIKCLOT-COM...item3a9160bb20. It appears to be Quikclot combat gauze that's used on actual wounds, but in an ER training setting. So is this stuff the same as the regular Quikclot combat gauze? Or is something entirely different?

Like the package says, it's a demo unit, to show how to pack the gauze into the wound. They also have blue demonstrator packages, I've got one sitting on the bookshelf next to my med books.

I would not put it in your first aid kit. It is not the same as the "regular QuikClot".

What's the difference between this stuff and regular Quikclot? I understand that the blue packaged QC is inert, so it's just a roll of bandage.

It's just gauze, in an expensive wrapper. No magic powers like the green package.

It is basically gauze, and the value added is the packaging and instructions with it that allow it to be a training analog for using the actual stuff.

No. No magic unicorn dust for just $10.
