I just read up on the Tremor and all reviews say its garbage basically due to its price point. The Tremor appears to be a 4x4 as well, not a 2wd.
Maybe the 2015 tremor will be different than the reviews I am reading for the 2014 Tremor.

my buddy has a 2013 ex cab 5.0 with long tube headers, Boss 5.0 intake manifold, cold air, 3.73s, mustang tune. Shits on tuned tremors. runs 13s 1/4 mile.

ah, I see that now.
Its still a lot of money over building a base model with the 3.5l, 2wd, 2dr and then building it out the way you want. Even the FX2 is 39k or something dumb like that. But in reality you can probably count on taking 6-8k off the sticker so a 30k truck which is still kind of high for a 2dr.
The point for me is moot though since I just bought a 14 Jeep Rubicon that is taking every dollar I make.

I've got a 2013 5 Point Oh My God, and I absolutely love it.
That being said, the EcoBoost trucks are bad ****in ass. The torque curve on them is extremely impressive. Before shitting on the EcoBoost, drive to your nearest Ford dealer, and test drive one. You will lie awake at night trying to decide if you should get one. They are nothing short of bodacious.
