My local shop has these and the staking of the gas key is horrible and nothing like what is pictured on the Wilson website.

I ended up with a Adams Arms BCG for about the same price, built local to me and finished very nicely. Anyway any of the Colt, Daniel, Bravo BCG that you can order on line are great too.

They are made by a very good company that partially supplies Colt with BCG's. Colt does all the testing though (buy them in the white).

So yes, they are a good product.

Like IG said, the BC itself is a low-stress, long lived part.
This, that said with multiple rifles an extra BCG or two isn't a bad idea.

I'm interested in the Micro Slick BCG from BCM. Anyone tried one yet?

Roh? What's the deal with these? Any reviews yet? Is this sold by BCM, I can't find it on their site?

They used to be years ago but were discontinued. They were gtg from all accounts. Is there a re-release coming or something?

They are still available from G and R Tactical, from what I can tell. I just fired off an email with a few questions to their website. I'm looking to either do an upper build or buy a blemished upper from BCM, but either way I'm thinking I'll likely end up with a BCM bcg. My only real question is whether or not the Micro Slick offers any real increased benefit. At $30 different in price, I don't feel like it is a bad deal if the Micro Slick coating offers any improvements as long as it doesn't bring any issues to the table. I'll have to see what the reply is. I'll share what I learn.

I'm now a fan of the LMT enhanced BCG system.

G and R Tactical had two options. One is micro slick the other is ionbond. I know ionbond offers no improvement in slickness but it's nice to have the option

Interesting, didn't know that. I think it was IG that was running an ion bonded one (*carrier) if Im remembering right and had good things to say about it.
