I'm curious about it because ionbond if I'm right is supposed to release oils over time.

BCM, Daniel Defense, or Colt. Don't spend money on something like Midwest, Wilson, Adams Arms, or other non top tier manufacturers and then wonder if you made the right decision.

I have a black Ion bonded carrier and it works great.

Picked up a BCM and sent it to WMD and had it nib-x coated. Dropped it in the DD/V3 and now I have my DD bcg as a spare.

Any idea how Micro Slick compares to Ionbond?

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

BCM and LMT have been flawless for me. I have about 4-5k rounds on each

Micro Slick will wear off over time. It is actually a lubricant where Ionbond is not. It is also much cheaper.

If you're going to stick with those that were highly recommended here at M4C,namely BCM, Colt, DD, LMT, Noveske, then this right now is hard to beat.
