    PPQ Coated by Robar

NP3 on internals and Poly T2 in gunmetal on the slide/slide lever. $35 to overnight there, $250 for coating and overnight shipping back. Sent the middle of April and received it back today.

It appears they didn't coat the rails on the frame, even though I have seen them do this on a Glock. I also didn't realize the mag release button was going to be coated, I thought it was plastic. If I had known then I would have asked for the button done in gunmetal too. I still have my 10-8 rear sight to install, but I may switch to Trijicon HDs instead. I'm also on the fence about having it stippled. No range time yet, I might get out there on Saturday or Sunday.

Could you compare recoil characteristics while shooting between the PPQ with the stock guide rod/spring and the DPM? Also if you experience any reliability issues with the DPM while shooting?

I'm curious to know how the trigger feels with the internals coated in NP3.
