I'm no IT guy but I find it hard to believe that the e-mails weren't sent through an enterprise server. Her computer crash should have had no effect on the e-mails. Just another example of Obongo and his minions gaming the system.

Of course. You don't expect one crooked Govt agency to rat out a fellow crooked Govt agency in order to embarrass The Leader Obama.

You'd think at least a small % of people in these organizations had some sort of decency. Nope.

I will openly fault the Republicans for not having the balls to press this ignoring-of-the-law issue for several years now. These cocksuckers do what the hell they want, the LAW be damned.

Can you even imagine if a Republican administration openly and repeatedly flaunted the law? OMG the horror!

The NSA doesn't have that information, just ask them....

If the House does impeach the "O", then the Senate Democrats and Republicans will close ranks and maintain the status quo of power in D.C.
Holder owes too much to his buddy to go after anyone on this. Maybe some lowly IT guy will get thrown under the bus if it stays on the front page long enough. My bet is this will be over and done (with the media's help) in less than a week. Some other scandal will be "discovered" or some human drama (either real or manufactured) will take center stage. Any one up for a good Tsunami?

My wife works IT for a major grocery chain around the country. When I told her what the IRS is saying she called bullshit before I even finished the sentence.

Unless the physical drive went through the woodchipper or was specifically and methodically overwritten (the entire thing, including unallocated space), some skilled computer forensics technician could carve out the email data. This is done all the time, provided evidence hasn't physically been destroyed. Considering the players, the drive array probably is missing and it's George Bush's fault.

I am an IT guy. Email archiving is not only a best practice, in many cases it is a legal requirement.

The organization I work for, like many others, it often the subject of legal orders and subpoenas to produce emails. If we willfully conceal them, a judge will have us all in orange jumpsuits faster than you can say "contempt of court".

I can tell you from personal experience, you do NOT want to be in a meeting with your Chief Legal Officer and hear somebody say the words "Um, we can't find the emails". Remember those Hitler rant videos? That was a Oprah Winfrey poetry recital compared to what you will hear come from that lawyer's mouth.
