I'm trying to think of a gun rag that isn't laden with ads for Viagra and other "male enhancement" products. But it's not coming to me. And considering that most of the gun guys I know are also truck guys....

Earnestly, there are only two gun rags I enjoy for anything other than light entertainment and those are SWAT and RECOIL.

When I read your first sentence, I immediately thought of SWAT, then saw that you mentioned it. I don't see such advertising in ti.

I know that tactical is the cash cow buzz word and that it is what all of the cool kids are doing now days, however, at some point the whole notion just begins to strain credulity. Case in point:

There is absolutely nothing tactical about either cargo shorts or the fat ass size 44 waistband wearing them.

I don't normally care about the tomfoolery enough to comment on it, but this just struck be as asinine. I wish the industry would find another term to sell their crap.

I understand your point, but there's far worse examples of the "tactical" label that decent cargo pants for large fella's does not register on the meter at this point for me. Things like tactical bottle openers and tactical pens etc. makes the pants seem downright reasonable. First rule of tact-cool is, it must me black.

I have one myself and they are great (as a pen and perhaps a pointy object in your hand) but what makes them tactical I'm unclear. Maybe just that they are much more robustly built than typical pens? Maybe a bad example. How about Tactical Spatula Sheath from Tacticla Grilling ?
