Seem strange there was no flotsam or oil slick. Another theory is the plan was hijacked. Will we little people ever learn the truth?

    Has anyone checked the skimmers?

They find quite a few shipwrecks hundreds of years later with not as much to go on and they pretty much look like the bottom !

If they truly wanted to find it they could do more ? Something is not correct about this whole thing

That was probably their best chance, but even then, the pings didn't narrow down to any precise location. They still had a pretty wide swath in which to search. Again, very difficult with large ships, near impossible with planes.

Sad truth is that sometimes planes disappear for a long time. As others have said, this one might never be found, especially if it did crash into the part of the Indian Ocean that they think it did - one of the most remote and untraveled parts of the world ocean. It could also be a stain on a mountainside somewhere in SE Asia. I expect it will be found someday, but that may be years or decades away.

Don't know if it is intact now but, I do know eventually it will be off the Cape of Good Hope in S. Africa in 3 main pieces (cock pit, fuselage and tail section) missing the wings. How do I know this? Well, I had a dream about it!

Jokes about ET and XFiles aside; I don't know why, but when the story first broke and the initial details came out my first thought was that this plane is in some sort of 'Stan getting loaded with explosives. I still think there is a chance that this may be the case.

Nah... Alex Jones sez it's in a hanger in Tierra del Fuego - being packed with explosives to fly into another American skyscraper as a false flag event.

I still find it peculiar that with all of our eye in the sky tech that one could assume us to possess that noone knows where it went, or at the least noone in .gov is talking. We can track every phone call on the planet and every chunk of rock or debris circling the planet though.
