    Question

    @SIMPLYDYNAMIC:

    So the advantage is really only seen when having this installed on SBRs? Are you guys running 10.5" barrels?

    I have a question regarding some of the material in the DVD's.

    I noticed in the DVD's there was not any kind of "push/pull" check when mags were inserted. Also, on the malfunction section...a "tap" or slap was advocated rather than a "push/pull" check.

    SWAT mag just had an article where some of the problems associated with slapping a magazine with worn feed-lips was discussed. I have also personally "slapped" a magazine, which upon a push/pull check came out. I would think if you had a malfunction in the first place...the integrity of the magazine may be suspect, anyway.

    Are there some things I'm missing regarding the benefits of the "slap" over the push/pull....or is it just a speed thing?

    Thanks!

    sdacbob, you beat me to it. I finished watching the second disc last night and was thinking the same thing. Some lefty-specific stuff -- other than the pealing back drill that was run with the folks using their left-side -- would have been fantastic.

    Question secondary weapons used

    There was some other post that listed the gear Travis and Chris used in the video. While mentioning the holsters it didn't specify what their secondaries were. Was Chris using a G17, G22 or G21? Travis, what 1911 is that? Nice rigs!

    We need Joan Rivers to do a recap of all the designers that Travis and Chris wore.

    What is the vest/chest rig Chris has on in the 2nd class, late in the DVD, shooting around the cars? I think the holster is in it too.
