To Terri and the rest of the Petrie family,

Thank you so much for sharing him with us and the rest of the world. He has impacted and spread the love and character of God to so many which challenging for many to do. There was that "something different" about him quality that you could even feel/see just through reading his posts that anyone was instantly drawn to. He was an amazing man and was wonderful to interact with and learn from. I pray for your family that you will continue to enjoy the fruits from his life and influence that you can see in your children. Even though I never met him in person, I felt like I knew him and cared for him. I plan to visit him next time I make it to VA.

Like anyone in such a difficult position Terri has been adjusting and allowing the dust to settle. This humble forum came to mean a great deal to Chuck during his last year, as it offered a unique and meaningful base of support for him when he needed it most. Terri knows this too and has expressed it more than once privately so it was good to see her articulate so well here. To say the very least we can be sure our efforts were not in vain and hopefully we're ready to stand by the next good fellow who needs us at their most desperate time.

He's doing great! We've all kept the Stammtisch tradition going. Of course it's not quite the same without Chuck. Still a great time is had by all.
