A few years ago the University of Illinois had to get rid of their mascot of forever Chief Illiniwek for these same reasons.

I used the same example today. Not only does the "Fighting Irish" imply all Irish like to get drunk and fight, it also takes away from the French Catholics that actually founded the school. Maybe they should change their name to the "Surrender Monkeys" to pay homage to their actual roots.

Every day. I feel every single minute of it. I want the country I grew up in back, whatever the f*** happened to make this happen I don't want.
