Good for using as a beater / loaner. Plus could be a good starter rifle for some buddy on tight budget later. Or check out fix anything not on up and up... stash away from bad times.

Buy two - one is a beater, and the other to sell to somebody for profit.

When I was a kid I got a hold of a bushmaster catalog. Not knowing any better I thought they were the coolest thing on earth. My first AR was a Colt and I can't imagine buying a BM now. However, for $400 I may consider it. I would never admit to my friends that I own one, but for future panic-selling purposes I guess you can do worse... As long as it's not the polymer garbage...
If you have the money, I would buy one if not both. Stash them in your safe and wait for the next scare.
For $400 it's worth buying and keeping around to show people who say an AR is an AR how much better your quality ARs shoot....

funny how we spend top dollar on high quality mil spec rifles that are known for reliability and durability but then treat our cheap guns as the beater.
Buy it for sure. Flip it later or just sell the upper at a gun show and get a free complete lower...
