Add to the endless list of politicians who have no understanding of what they're voting for, or why. Very scary indeed.
"Why "zombies"? Because calling it 'training to stop a rioting, starving, panicking, desperate mob after a complete governmental financial collapse apocalypse' is just too wordy." or in light of current events: "training to stop a rioting, looting, molotov cocktail throwing, skinny jeans wearing, uneducated bunch of lemmings duped by, or working directly for, a marxist organization attempting to tear down America while hiding behind a race-based name"

Well because the politicians would have to pass a statute that makes such activity illegal. You know, just like they pass their own wage increases...

Montezuma County Sheriff Dennis Spruell said Hickenlooper admitted he “should have done more research” on the measures and listened to the sheriffs’ concerns before signing them into law. The governor told the group he felt obligated to push for the bill because a staff member had promised he would, according to both Smith and Spruell.

After this admission, CO residents should write their reps and introduce a bill to undo the damage from the hastily passed laws.

Eurodriver's post sums it up nicely... election year, Now Hickenlooper has to face the public over this issue, So, he blames someone else for not doing his job for him, and absolves himself of all responsibility.. Sounds like he tore a page from Obumbo's playbook... I certainly hope the folks in Colorado see through this, and send him down the road...
