If a large number of people are willing to kill you for saying something, then it probably really needs to be said. .

I have relatives who live and ranch in both Dolores County, Colorado and San Juan County, Utah. They tell me the local County Sheriffs in Colorado have no intention of enforcing the high capacity magazine law, and it seems a majority of Coloradans are ignoring it as well.

But are District Attorneys ignoring it?

Nope and neither are city cops & Staties. Our local Sheriff refuses to put anyone charged with or convicted of any of these in his county jail but that's not the point. The laws still exist and are a state law. If someone somewhere wants to enforce them they can.

That's my point. My Local Sherif is VERY outspoken against the law, signs off on NFA items, etc.. While that's great, it doesn't change the fact that the law is on the books, ready and waiting for anyone that "ignores" the law.

    Sucks!

    Sucks!

Ironically enough from the same state that legalized marijuana in direct conflict with existing Federal statute.

I have relatives in Colorado, and love the mountains, but this stuff makes my head spin.

It's the legislature that passed the legalization of marijuana and the firearms restrictions. Not the LEOs. They are simply refusing to enforce a state law and a federal law. Seems pretty consistent.

But I understand your concern. Police departments will find themselves out of work once they can no longer do military raids on houses where people grow plants.

Unfortunately liberty means different things to different people.. especially when one group is hell bent on infringing on the liberty of another.

Before the trend I see developing goes any farther, let's all stay focused on the Governor of Colorado, shall we?

Not weed, or raids, or de evil debbil thugs, or anything else.

    Thank you all.
