    Arsenal SAM7 SF

OK, guys talk to me about the Arsenal SAM7 SF. It seems very interesting to me and has allot going for it; milled receiver, side-folder, updated safety, and optics rail. Are these refinished in the U.S.?

The only thing that hurts is the price.

Those are built and finished here in the US, so they have the really nice powder coat finish vs. the Bulgarian finish.

Great rifles, about the only thing that they're missing is a peep apeture style rear sight closer to your eye.

If I'd have known you were looking for one.......

I own one. My only AK right now, and definitely a prize in my collection. The finish is the US one except, for, IIRC, the finish on the actual folding stock, which is the weaker Bulgarian finish. The thumb safety is neat, but takes a little effort and pushing forward safes it. Bringing it back to fire takes more effort. The machining around the folding stock attachment in the rear was done by hand and therefore has ripples (in some at least) if you look at it real close. Some complained, I think it looks cool. It's not the lightest, handiest rifle in the world but the folding stock is very solid and I think it is a nice shooting rifle.

You are in Virginia, correct? Quantico Arms has had one on their shelves forever, it seems, at shows and in the Woodbridge store.
