I was thinking of the same thing. But it would end up failing the LOP requirement as well.

And maybe the AWC G2 system, but again, no LOP. That's always been a fascinating weapon to me that I've never gotten to see in person.

Oh ok, gotcha. I didn't know that there were LOP requirements. That totally blows! That system is super compact and the term accurate doesn't even come close to describing that system.

So with that being said, are they pretty much limited to AR platforms and the what is it....XM2010 chasis?

    XM2010 is a bolt action.

So an AR pattern rifle. SCAR as well maybe. Piston ARs like the LMT and H&K if you count them as separate.

Duh....wow. I'm not paying attention today. Yea it is a bolt action...

I know the SF have been using the SCAR H for awhile. Doesn't the Brits use the LMTs? Wonder if we would look at those.

I'm thinking Knights SR25E2 with a hefty USGI mark up.

Sorry $12,361.11, was using just 44 million on the first figure.
is that really that expensive considering that it includes optics, secondary optics, service contact, everything as a complete system? yeah you can piece together your own stuff when you're just dealing with you. how often have you bought twice cried twice? or even more than twice?

I guess if I am spending your money, then no. If I am spending other's hard earned money I would get a service contract for "just incase" also. Most service contracts are just a way to justify a higher price for something not worth the cost. It should come with a warranty and training for how to properly maintain it. I just expect the unit number to be higher for that kind of money. I guess the M110 ,as nice as it is, must be the government crying once.

I don't typically cry, I do alot of reserch before I make a purchase and am pretty satisfied with what I end up with. Sure I have had a few impulse buys, but if it is a major or important purchase I will spend hours investigating all I can to make an informed decision.
