    Fair winds and following seas to the young Marine, as well as the others that lost their lives due to the IED.

    My thoughts and prayers are with their families and fellow warriors.

    I sure hope the jackasses at the high school that forbid him from wearing his uniform feel like the low lifes they are for the rest of their miserable lives.

    Exactly! Where was that statewide pride and support when he was being persecuted by the local school district. And yes, though the SD is lo al govt it gets s big chunk of funding by the State and would be heavily influenced by calls from State leaders of the same party affiliation.

    Hopefully someone calls their hypocrisy and challenges them to pass a State law requiring school districts to allow wearing uniforms st all official school events. Since they are now finally proud of their heroic native son.

    Condolences to the family and friends of this young man and his comrades. I'm certain his loss is deeply felt by many.

    As for the graduation uniform controversy, it's unfortunate that the media and those wishing to capitalize on the situation were incapable of demonstrating the same level of maturity as that shown by this young Marine.
