In the final picture it's weight is 8.6 lbs. The Daniel Defense M4V4 pictured with it weights 7.8 lbs so even with the longer rail, billet receiver set, and heavier stock there's still not a huge weight difference. I think I forgot to add the weight in the post, I'll make sure to go back and update it.

Thanks! I did not Cerakote it myself. It was done by Black Dove Customs in Shelbyville, Ky. And I've thought about a magnifier but I'm just not sure if I like them enough yet.

Just wait for the tritium trigger to be developed. Followed shortly by the tritium take down pins.

The tritium filled selector does seem chintzy but it does have one thing going for it that interests me. On my nightstand or coffee table (depending where I fall asleep) is my HD weapon. Its not an AR but an M&P 9 that has a tritium front sight. In a darkened room that tritium vial makes a great reference point as to where my pistol is.

That's what I was thinking as well. When I open my gun locker in the dark its easy to find my pistol because of the tritium on the sights, but if I had to grab something, I would prefer my AR, which can be difficult to see. I've tried to mitigate this by always keeping it in the exact same spot with extra room around it. A tritium vial somewhere where it would be covered by the hand while in use would probably be a pretty good solution. A guy on the 1911 forum made up some grips like that a while back, but they weren't really well received because of the tritium sights. It might be a better application for a long gun though.

I went this route when considering a Eotech and magnifier. I went with a 1-4x Leupold and love it.

YEAROGER27, sent you an email regarding those selectors, I've been trying to find them now for a long time!
