    Angry rra 223/5.56 wylde?

Im lookimg at picking up a rra 16" 1/8 twist 223/5.56 wylde chambered barrel from my local shop that has them for a decent price. However I cant find much info on them or any real reviews. Does anybody have any input. How will this barrel hold up to rapid fire? Will it handle 62gr 5.56 ball ammo ok? Or should I look into a different barrel set up? Not going to pushing out past 300 meters withthis setup.

RRA really is not known for their barrel quality.

Go to BravoCompanyUSA.com and look in their Specials area. You might find a nice stainless barreled upper there. Otherwise, White Oak Armamant has 1/8 Wylde SS barrels. But your BCM uppers will be able to run that 62 gr 556 ammo too.

And the probably over port them and use typical RRA crap components to finish them off. I'd pass.

RRA is known for being very over gassed and not great quality. I would pass on anything RRA.

The barrel is the heart of your rifle, it is worth spending a little extra and get a BCM or White Oak Armory and not worry about questionable quality.

If you're not going past 300m, a LW barrel and 5.56 chamber is what you want. If you need to run lower pressure ammunition, DD can't be beat there, otherwise there's a plethora of quality lightweight or government profile 4150 steel barrels that will meet your accuracy needs if you're feeding it 62gr stuff.
